If I ask you this question: "What is your vision?" When he ran through his presentation, I had a few suggestions for him, but overall he nailed it. It was simple, it was clear and it was perfect. When he showed up at my office, I asked him this question: "What is your vision?"Īnd this was his answer: "I provide on-site oil-changes for your car." So he focused on things he could do and things that made him happy - and working on cars was his "thing."Ī few years after graduating, he called me up to ask if I'd review his presentation he was going to give before a Board. College was never really in his plans because college tuition was well above his means.
